The Annual Report in New Jersey

NJ annual reports are due on the last day of your formation anniversary month. So if you formed in June, your report is due June 30 every year. The filing fee is $75. Missing it can result in penalties and eventual dissolution.

Additional NJ Considerations

New Jersey has a minimum annual alternative minimum assessment of $150 for LLCs treated as corporations for tax purposes. This is a tax matter separate from registered agent and annual report obligations. Talk to your accountant about whether it applies to you.
